visitors

so, Mom and Aunt have gone home. They were here for two weeks:

• couple of days in Dar
• fly to Arusha
• one day in Lake Manyara National Park
• two days in Ndutu (part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area)
• one day in the Serengeti
• one day in the Ngorongoro Crater
• three days in Stone Town, Zanzibar (Mom swam - it's hot here)
• couple of days in Dar

I don't think they ever got rid of their jet lag or became comfortable with the heat but I hope they had a good time. For me, the safari was wonderful. A cynic at heart, I am always prepared to be underwhelmed with things that receive a lot of hype. What a shock to be shocked and amazed consistently through out our trip.

Our safari guide was a Massai warrior. I will post more with pictures and stories.
